LMAO! Don’t you know, Anon? He’s just being Sergio.
Aww.

Dunno. It’s been working for me.
I think I’ll live vicariously through you. You seem to have enough fun for two people.
Young at heart.
Sorry, Marca seems to be only in Spanish.

In case you missed it – Hércules vs. Real Madrid [2010-10-30].
This was our first – and hopefully last, although I seriously doubt it – remontada of the season. And sigh… winter’s coming – the yellow winter ball was used for the first time this season.
One. Cris started out the second half a bit lost, but he eventually found his way. He scored twice, bringing his total to 13 in the month of October (11 with Madrid and two with Portugal). He’s currently ranked first for pichichi with 12 goals. And he showed us some new goal celebrations!
Match on now.

Ricardo Carvalho addressed the media following this morning’s training session.
“It’s important for us to be group leaders after our game in Milan. Our goal is to secure the first position as soon as possible and that’s why it’s important to earn a good result there. We were better than them at the Bernabeu and they will want to prove they can defeat us.”
Real Madrid starting preparing for Wednesday’s Champions League match against AC Milan in Italy.
Yesterday’s starters did recovery exercises under the supervision of fitness trainer Rui Faria; Ozil stayed in the gym; Benzema, Diarra, Canales, Granero, Pedro Leon, Albiol, Arbeloa and Mateos tackled physical and ball exercises with Assistant Coach Aitor Karanka; Dudek and Adan worked out with goalkeeper coach Silvinio Louro; and Lass and Gago jogged with a ball aside from the squad.
Jose Mourinho supervised the entire session.
Are they practicing golf swings? XD
Here is the last part from Sergio’s appearance on Punto Pelota. A big thanks to Jennifer for taking the time out of her studies to do this for us!
Roberto Morales: And also a lot of former madridistas, such as Zidane, and people from the vestuario, Rafa van der Vaart and Mohamadou Diarrá, and this year especially Kaká, who is a very charitable person.
JP: Now we’re going to have some messages from viewers. Ever since we knew we were going to have you on, we’ve been advertising you.
SR: (laughing) Yeah, I saw – “next week, next week…”
JP: We’ve received lots of messages for you, so Irene is going to read some out.
Goodnight.
Iker knows it’s time for Sergi’s obligatory smooch.

Chew Chew Chew.

Cristiano Ronaldo (2) and Angel di Maria scored the goals that gave Real Madrid a 3-1 against Hercules.
Cristiano Ronaldo
“I’m in great form and having a phenomenal run. I scored goals and I’m happy because we are still leaders. The team played well after half-time, doing the never-easy task of scoring three goals. I am also very happy for Benzema. He played a decisive role and assisted me in our third goal.”
“Mourinho gave perfect and correct orders during half-time that changed the team. Everything has to work on the pitch, it isn’t enough to attack well. Everything we did in the second half was perfect and that’s why we won.”Di Maria
“I am very happy. Winning was what really mattered. We deserved it because we changed in the second half and did our best to win. These are the games that help you win titles. We had to win whatever the cost. I’m happy because the fans support me. I always try to do my best. I play to help the team do well. I’m happy for the victory and we will start to think about Milan tomorrow.”******
Karim Benzema gave a stellar and decisive performance against Hercules. He, Iker Casillas and Xabi Alonso commented on the match.
Benzema
“Whenever we speak, Mourinho always tells me I can do much for the team on the pitch. People will realise I am a good player, I just need to play. Before the game, I told the coach I was going to work to play more.”
Casillas
“The important thing is we continue to win and to be at the top. Real Madrid were different in the second half from the team they were in the first. Our mentality changed. Our reaction to losing against a difficult opponent was also important. We played at a small and complicated venue.”
“We are all very happy for Benzema. He deserved to play this well after having to listen to endless comments about him during the past week.”
“Mourinho is a phenomenon because he controls each half very well and always knows how to say the right thing at the right time. Our reaction in the second half was due in part to what he said in the dressing room and to the successful substitutions he made.”
Alonso
“We know every point dropped could eventually be decisive. That’s why these three are so important. We will also try to seal our pass to the next round in the Champions League in Milan this week.”
Jose Mourinho was satisfied with the victory and said his men had to work hard to defeat a solid opponent.
“The first half was very complicated because our opponent was aggressive. I didn’t like Hercules’ goal because I talked to my players about efforts such as the one it came from. We were practically alone playing football during the second half. We increased our defensive efforts; Casillas didn’t have a moment’s rest, our defenders were always well posititoned, Mourinho was consistent… The most important thing is we took three points that keep us at the top of the table for another week.”
“Hercules are having a good run in the championship and they have players who are very good at playing this sort of game. Their fans were very supportive of them, adding intensity to their game, which relied on fast ventures in attack. We took risks and everything tastes better when you risk and also win. We had to win this game.”
Real Madrid hadn’t been forced to turn a score around yet this season.
Hercules scored an early opener, but the Whites fought back to earn a great victory led by a sensational Cristiano Ronaldo.
The match had the worst possible start for Real Madrid; Trezeguet netted a spectacular header following a cross from Cortes. It took the Madridistas a while to recover from such a harsh blow. They didn’t position themselves right and they had to fight off Hercules’ pressure all over the pitch. Madrid gradually started to control the match and Cristiano began to put the local defence to the test with his speed. Ronaldo had his team’s best chance to score in the first half with a shot from outside the box that was narrowly saved by keeper Calatayud (23’). Higuain then tried to score from the clearance in vain.
As of 4:04pm EST, links aren’t completed. They should be up within the hour.
I am indeed. lol
It’s been more than a decade since Real Madrid and Hercules last met in La Liga. It was back in 1997, a year in which the Whites eventually won the title. The last time both sides faced each other was in a friendly in Alicante on 22 August 2010 that the Madridistas won 3-1. Jose Mourinho’s men will look to take three more points tonight in order to secure their leadership on the table.
Video here.
There’s still a lot more left from Punto Pelota!
JP: You are leading Madrid into the future, right? You and Iker Casillas are basically the future of this team?
SR: Well, maybe, but you can’t forget our current standard-bearers, Raúl as well as Guti, and as long as they’re part of the team, the weight of leadership will always be shared. We’re very grateful for their example, and for me, because I consider myself a young player with a lot to learn, to have such veteran players as captains, really helps us to learn so that in the future, when they’re not there, those of us who have been here the longest will know how best to lead such a complicated vestuario as this one.
This is what law school is? Why haven’t I signed up for this?
I wonder what other gems your magical book holds. Does it also tell you that a defendant is innocent until proven guilty?

Just change Cristiano Ronaldo’s name to Mr. October. The Madridista forward has scored a total of eleven goals this month, a feat never before accomplished by the Portuguese international. Top scorer in La Liga, Ronaldo has been on fire in recent weeks and everything he touches turns to gold… Or goals for that matter. And on Saturday he has another chance to bolster his stats.
The run began on 3 October against Deportivo when Cristiano scored a brace in the 6-1 drubbing. Next came two goals for Portugal in qualifiers against Denmark and Iceland. After returning to league play, number ‘7’ scored another two against Malaga followed by his goal in Real’s 2-0 win against Milan. Most recently, Cristiano put four on the board in Real Madrid’s 6-1 win against Racing, also another first for the striker.
