Day Three of pre-season training started at 5:30 in the afternoon. Players split into two groups with Silvino Louro working with the keepers & José Mourinho supervising the field players. Fourteen academy players were on hand, including recent Castilla signing Fabinho.

While the keepers worked out with Louro, Mourinho’s group ran sprints, stretched & performed recovery exercises.

Thursday’s training begins at 10 am.
In other news. Real Oviedo’s president confirmed the friendly against Real Madrid. The two clubs will face off at Carlos Tartiere on July 24. Depending on the local airport’s control tower, the match will start between 7:30 & 8 o’clock that evening.
While on holiday in Thailand, Cristiano Ronaldo spoke to local press about the club. “The greatest moment I’ve had at Real Madrid so far was winning the league title. In my opinion, it is the most difficult league championship in the world. We faced a very strong opponent like Barcelona and defeated them with a nine-point cushion. It was fantastic.”
