Injury Updates: Pepe and Cristiano Ronaldo

Pepe:

The FPF confirmed that Pepe arrived to his national team’s camp in Óbidos with muscle pain in his left thigh.

Cristiano:

After being cleared by Real Madrid’s medical staff, he reported to national team duty. Portugal’s team doctor, Henrique Jones, said Cristiano’s left shoulder injury was “slight”. 

“We’ll do everything we can to get him ready (for the game at Russia on Friday),” Jones said. “We think that’s possible, but we’ll be checking up on him every day.”

According to the FPF, both players will undergo specific treatments over the next couple of days.
