I don't get how Piqué is on that list instead of Pepe but whatever, we still have the most amount of players on there. Also do you know if the players have already voted for the FIFPro World XI (Ideal starting XI team)? |
Piqué benefits from playing for Barcelona and Spain, regardless of his relatively poor season (injuries and inconsistency).
Pepe’s not the only one who should have been included. I guess Pipita’s 26 goals and 10 assists for club aren’t worthy of recognition either. It’s all for nothing, though. Everybody knows it will come down to Messi and Ronaldo and probably some dark horse (Falcao, Pirlo, etc.).
As for the World XI, I think players are still casting votes. I read players were still voting as recently as last week. The 55-player shortlist comes out at the end of November (I believe).
