He was reportedly driving along the M40 when a car in front of him hydroplaned and made him run into the side wall. Doesn’t seem to be serious, though. Just some neck cramps.

28 players trained in this morning’s session & were divided into three groups. Rui Faria led a recovery session with five players who started against Sporting (Pepe, Coentrão, Di María, Higuaín & Özil), as well as Jesé, who played 90 minutes against Oviedo. At a more intense pace, Alonso, Sahin, Benzema, Granero, Varane, Callejón, Kaká, Altintop, Albiol & Arbeloa trained alongside 10 Castilla players. Silvino Louro saw over the keepers: Adán & Mejías. Cristiano, Casillas, Lass, Khedira & Ramos were all excused from training. However, Cristiano chose to work out inside anyway.
Medical treatment & physiotherapy were conducted on Marcelo because of muscle fatigue in his left hamstring. AS reports that this knock will keep him from traveling to Amsterdam. Carvalho continued his recovery process. [x]
