Celtic FC have confirmed a friendly match against Real Madrid in Philadelphia on August 11. Since the Scottish league kicks off on August 4, Celtic will have to reschedule their league fixture to accomodate the friendly.

Confirmed: Real Madrid to Play LA Galaxy on July 16

The LA Galaxy, in conjunction with Major League Soccer, CAA Sports and Multimedia Sports, announced today the club will return to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for the first time since 2007 to take on Spanish power Real Madrid on Saturday, July 16 at 7 p.m. as part of the 2011 World Football Challenge. Complete details regarding tickets for this game will be released in the coming weeks, but Galaxy full season seat holders will be eligible for a special presale prior to the public on sale.
