José Mourinho (double yellow) & Rui Faría (4th time this season) were also expelled. Lass will sit out the Real Sociedad match after picking up his fifth yellow.
• According to the referee’s report, Pepe yelled to him, “What a robbery, you motherfucker!” He will likely receive punishment for his outburst. According to AS, under Article 94 of the RFEF’s policies, Pepe could miss between 4 & 12 games.
• Sergio Ramos earned the dubious honor of most red cards (11 in 221 games) in Real Madrid’s league history. [x]
